Joshua was born in Vienna, Austria. He graduated from high school with a major in photography and film and lived in Los Angeles for one year to work at the USC Shoah Foundation. During this time he focused on gaining experience as an artist.

His passion for narrative story telling and capturing the world around him leads to various film and photography projects. 

For me, cinema has always been another world where you immerse yourself in a story and forget the here and now for the moment. A medium that makes me think, brings me together with others and shows and makes me feel the most diverse moments and emotions. It is usually the smallest, most everyday moments that get to me, make me cry or smile. Because I usually don't appreciate the small moments enough, they are even bigger in the cinema than the screen already is.

Life is not only worth living, but much more worth telling. I have always questioned things and consciously observed the living goings-on around me. I am taken by the magic with which the world shows stories and moments.
